The story of Abbey Mount 2.0

The Story of Abbey Mount 2.0 begins with telling you that I´m back from five super awesome days Trier! Firstly I want to mention that I took all the photo´s with my mobile phone, because I discovered the first day that my camera didn´t work, probably some problems with the batteries.
There´s been told that we would participate in a international study week, with other students from Europe. Before the trip started I had some expectations, and honestly they were not always right.

Day 1. After a 3 hour journey we arrived in Trier, a beautiful city in southern Germany, near to Luxembourgh. I was a bit sleepy when we drove upwards, but when I saw the huge building right around the corner, I immediatly felt awake and excited. Wauw, that pand was just enormous. I imagined loads of people from different countries already in there, but I was wrong. Only Germany, Romania and our group would participate in the programm. In total we were with 33, which was a damper for some of us, including me. But hey, you know me, being optimistic doesn't hurt anyone. We would have the húge building for ourselves the following days! After some introducing games which had the goal of getting to know each other, we returned too our rooms. What a view, what a view. I could stare hours at that overlook of the city. Anyways, the work-part also made its entrance the first day. You could make a choice between 'Video', 'Internet' and 'Newspaper'. The project was prepared under the guidance of professionals of the media world. I chose 'Video', so in my case I learned how to give and film an interview that evening. We also visited a synagoge and joined a jewish mass, it was quite fascinating although I couldn't understand a word because it was in hebrew.

Day 2. The next day we went to Karlsruhe, 3 hours away from Trier. There was the 'Zentrum für Kunst und Media', translated as 'Centre of Art and Media'. It was an museum for especially modern art and interactive activities. When we got home at 7, our teacher drove us to the supermarket to stock up drinks and food. That evening we had an meeting with our workgroup, this time I had to prepare for the next day. We would go to the Buddha Museum, and our task was to film. Therefore, we had to set up a plan, such as making up the script etc. They also needed someone who would took an interview with the manager of the museum, although I thought it was scary, I raised my finger. It was all about new experiences, right? After working we went to a lounge room on our floor, and played singstar with drinks and the Germans. Lovely.
